On October 28, Quebec's Public Finance Committee invited the RCCAQ to take part in public hearings on Bill 3, An Act to amend various legislative provisions mainly with respect to the financial sector. It should be noted that this was a very nice way to be officially recognized: the RCCAQ was among only a small number of organizations (fewer than a dozen) asked to share their views.

After accepting the invitation to attend the hearings, we submitted a clearly-thought-out position paper and gave a presentation.

On November 9, Jean-Pierre Tardif, RCCAQ vice-president, and Éric Manseau, RCCAQ executive director, visited Quebec's National Assembly to present the main points of our position paper (entitled "Bill 3 - An Act to amend various legislative provisions mainly with respect to the financial sector" and to answer MNAs' questions.
