Industry Outlook > 2018 golf & cycling tournament: a resounding success!
The RCCAQ’s annual golf & cycling event was held at the Parcours du Cerf golf club in Longueuil on June 14, with over 300 people taking part this year. Once again, we’d like to thank all the participants, volunteers and sponsors who actively contributed to the success of this great event. We couldn’t do it without you!
Things kicked off with a delicious brunch and the clouds lifted just in time for the tee-off. The golfers enjoyed their time on the green, which included various contests and entertainment activities. We were also graced by the presence of several talented foursomes who racked up very impressive scores. The day’s big winners had a final score of 13 under par! Our congratulations go out to Dave Asselin, Stéphane Leblanc, Mathieu Garneau and Jean Lagacé.

Our bike enthusiasts hit the road to discover the region and complete their choice of two circuits (40 km or 90 km). Once again, we’re very grateful to Jean Lalumière for taking care of the participants.
After a busy day in the open air, the attendees were treated to a fun and friendly evening of activities, including a reception and a dinner. The latter provided an ideal opportunity for cyclists and golfers alike to network and hope for one of the many prizes awarded!
The 2018 edition of the RCCAQ’s golf & cycling event was a resounding success, not only for the participants but also for the organizers. You can check out the photos on our Facebook page. We hope to see an equally big turnout in 2019!
But before you go hunting for your golf clubs and cycling gear again, we look forward to seeing you at the RCCAQ’s 45th annual convention on November 7-8 at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal. Keep an eye out for our communications in this regard in the weeks to come.
