Promote your profession by becoming a Coalition ambassador

posted on February 19, 2018

Are you an insurance broker? Do you feel passionately about your profession? What if it turned out that your passion could inspire young people, individuals undergoing retraining or new arrivals about to make a major career move? The Coalition for the Promotion of the P&C Insurance Professions is currently seeking professionals like you to promote the broker profession!

Coalition ambassadors: reaching out to young people

As part of efforts to reach out to young people, the Coalition takes part in various events around the province and meets with potential candidates from different backgrounds who may never have considered an insurance career. Who better than experienced professionals to describe the opportunities, advantages and available career paths? In this regard, the Coalition would like to develop its network of professional ambassadors to promote the insurance professions.

The Coalition seizes a wide array of opportunities to promote insurance careers, including job fairs, training events, career days at high schools/CEGEPs, university conferences and organizations tasked with assisting new arrivals.

A number of brokers have already become Coalition ambassadors. Why not follow suit in order to promote your profession and your company/organization?

Being a Coalition ambassador is:

- Rewarding because you can make a real difference in someone's life.
- Easy because you get to talk about topics you know well, including your personal career path, day-to-day responsibilities and industry.
- Flexible because it's based on your own availability.

Become a Coalition ambassador today!

Please email Caroline Giard, administrative assistant and communications officer at the Coalition (coalition@chad.qc.ca).
