In partnership with Montréal Relève, the Coalition pour une relève en assurance de dommages is giving brokers a chance to take part in the Business Class program this summer. Geared towards the Montreal region, the program enables high school students to meet with Montreal-based professionals in a business setting.

Program benefits

What could be better than an immersion in a professional business setting for a few days? High school students will have an opportunity to:

• Begin reflecting on their career options.
• Become more aware of the expertise and practical skills required in the labour market.

By taking part in the Business Class program, insurance professionals in the Montreal  region are helping to shape the next generation’s professional outlook while bringing a dynamic of change to the sector.

Please note that participation in this initiative is designed to promote the damage insurance industry and the broker profession in the eyes of the next generation.

This inclusive program is an excellent opportunity for young people from a variety of backgrounds since they will have a chance to discover professional fields that were previously unknown to them. At the same time, for the insurance industry, this is a practical way to resolve the current labour shortage.

If you are a broker and would like to take part in this program, you will be asked to host at least two high-school students for a period of 3 to 5 days at your firm between June 20 and September 9, 2022.
