This contract is in full compliance with all provisions in Quebec's Civil Code pertaining to the nature and scope of the broker's mandate.
More than 30 years ago, the RCCAQ asked its legal team to draw up a standard contract. In order to maintain the contract’s relevance and usefulness, it is analyzed and updated on a regular basis. The various provisions are in accordance with all applicable laws.
However, it is likely that changes to Bill 188 will require another revision of the broker/client contract. Needless to say, we will keep you posted on any developments. Another advantage of being an RCCAQ member!
