Under the theme “Workforce & Digital Cabinet: TIME FOR ACTION”, the RCCAQ presents it's 49th annual convention. Brokerage firms’ staffing challenges and the digital transition are both pivotal issues that lie at the heart of the RCCAQ’s strategic initiatives. Selecting these issues as the focus of the 2022 convention was a natural choice.

Back to the tried-and-true format
It’s 2019 all over again! Do you remember those carefree days, with no masks or social distancing, or no public health rules? In other words, we’re back to the tried-and-trued format… or nearly. Needless to say, we will still be thinking of protecting the most vulnerable among us by washing our hands, etc. But this year the RCCAQ team is very pleased to present a 100% in-person format, including our trade show.
Up-to-date program
Although staffing issues have always been with us, the labour shortage has worsened over the past three years, and the pandemic has certainly been a major contributing factor! Not only has it sped up the pace of everything, but it has also had a profound impact on the labour market’s structure, as well as our work habits and social customs.
In addition, technological progress and advances are exerting more and more pressure on our industry and its many businesses, not least on brokerage managers who are forced to adapt and adhere to these new realities. It is essential to be an integral part of the digital era, which now reaches into every aspect of our lives.
How are we supposed to deal with these societal changes? What mechanisms and provisions can we implement to effectively address the impact of these issues in the workplace? What kinds of action should we take?
Through its various seminars and activities, the RCCAQ’s 49th annual convention hopes to offer answers to these questions while fostering reflection and new ways of thinking.
A new panel!
With a view to embracing this spirit of renewal and offering its members even more networking and discussion opportunities, the RCCAQ is innovating this year by presenting its “Wholesalers Panel”.
The goal of this brand-new activity will be similar to that of the traditional “Insurers Panel”, which will also be offered again this year. Both activities are designed to allow brokers to question the panelists, discuss key issues, demystify certain preconceived notions and find solutions together!

Packages for all tastes!
When it comes to this year’s convention packages, all options are possible and available, including the “Full Convention” or one-time activities only. Designed to suit a variety of budgets, the following packages are available for broker members, broker non-members, sponsors, exhibitors, service providers, etc.:
