RCCAQ in action > Annual general meeting: time to get ready!
There's still time left to update your firm's list of proxies prior to the RCCAQ's Board elections and our annual general meeting, which will be held online November 23. Please keep in mind that designated proxies are the only individuals authorized to represent member firms and to vote on their behalf at the AGM.
Proxies (voting members) must be designated by their firm and must meet the following conditions:
Only firm-designated proxies are authorized to receive communications concerning the notice of election.
To designate proxies as representatives, firms must update their profile in the members-only section of the RCCAQ's website under Vote Assignment. Alternatively, please contact Chantal Lussier, administrative assistant in charge of HR coordination.
Do you need your log-in information for the members-only section? Please contact Marie-Pier Proulx-Lauzon, marketing and member experience advisor.
Under the RCCAQ's bylaws, the number of proxies that a firm or company may assign depends on the number of brokers associated with the entity. The number is calculated as follows:

2-5 brokers |

*The number of brokers per firm was established by Quebec's AMF on March 1, 2021. This number is automatically calculated in your member profile based on your annual membership contribution.
Please note that unauthorized voting by proxy is not allowed at RCCAQ meetings.
