Brokers on Parliament Hill

posted on May 20, 2016

Today, the RCCAQ will be undertaking representation activities on Parliament Hill in Quebec City. An official delegation of brokers is slated to take part in a series of meetings with elected officials in order to promote our policy positions.

Various meetings will be held today, not only with representatives of the ministries involved in the Bill 188 review, but also with individual MNAs. We believe that our arguments are solid and that our concerns will be shared by many elected officials and political staff members.

In order to fully represent the RCCAQ, the delegation is made up of RCCAQ board members as well as managers of brokerage firms of all sizes.

The cocktail reception will kick off at 6:00 pm; all brokers are invited. We are very pleased with the response received thus far from brokerage firms and individuals. We have been informed that various MNAs will be attending as well. This is another opportunity to put forward our point of view.
