Consumers seek insurance advice

posted on June 21, 2016

Over the past few weeks, the RCCAQ conducted a survey to gain insight into Quebecers' level of insurance knowledge and their preferences in this regard.

The findings indicate that 83% of Quebecers want advice when shopping for insurance. This figure speaks volumes and shows that consumers do not wish to buy coverage on their own.

Interestingly, 42.8% of the respondents said they have a good level of insurance knowledge, although they still prefer to have expert reassurance!

What level of insurance knowledge do you have?

This invaluable information provides eloquent support for the RCCAQ's position to the effect that consumers should have access to professional advice when shopping for insurance online. It will also prove useful for the upcoming initiatives that we will be undertaking in connection with OPERATION BILL 188.
