Bertrand Rouault, the RCCAQ's Business Development Director, recently visited various brokerage firms in Rimouski and the Gaspé region. Representatives of Univesta Rimouski, Assurexperts Rimouski, PMT-Roy Rimouski and Assurexperts Clovis Morris Inc. all had an opportunity to attend information sessions on the RCCAQ's initiatives and to complete a training activity on insurance techniques.

Good feedback and useful discussions

During these meetings, Mr. Rouault presented an interactive activity entitled Your professional association at the heart of the ecosystem. This session gave the brokers the tools they needed to gain a clearer understanding of various industry actors.

The accompanying discussions were certainly useful. The topics covered included recruitment, technological innovations and the draft regulation governing the brokerage insurance sector.  

The discussions also confirmed the main issues of concern for brokerage firms. Based on these discussions, the RCCAQ team intends to continue its tour of Quebec and to meet with entrepreneurs who are giving our sector fresh momentum.
