Moderated by Bernard Derome (Radio-Canada announcer, journalist and broadcaster for the past 30 years), the insurers panel will be held on November 8 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM during the RCCAQ's annual convention. This year's panel will be made up of eight insurance company representatives:

- Sylvain Fauchon, CEO (Promutuel Insurance)

- Louis Gagnon, president, Canadian operations (Intact Insurance)

- Colm Holmes, president/CEO (Aviva Canada)

- Donna Ince, senior vice-president, personal insurance (RSA Canada)

- Serge Lavoie, president/CEO (Echelon)

- Tom Reikman, senior vice-president and chief distribution officer (Economical Insurance)

- Silvy Wright, president/CEO (Northbridge Insurance)

Brokerage firms and the industry as a whole are grappling with numerous changes that are affecting business strategies. The insurers panel is a great opportunity for brokers to gain insight into how these insurers, in their capacity as business partners, are dealing with these changes.

This year's panel will feature a new format, with a combination of individual interviews and discussions between insurers. The panellists will have a chance to set out their business vision and their outlook on the future of the brokerage sector.
