Dear RCCAQ members:

I am very pleased to wish you all a very happy International Women's Day! I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate part of the message I delivered during my first speech as RCCAQ chair. Last November 23, my address to the convention banquet included the following comments:

Over the course of my career, a number of women have been a source of inspiration for me. These extraordinarily open-hearted and open-minded women have given me a sense of momentum because they have never been afraid to shatter the glass ceiling. Also, I would like to pay tribute to my predecessors as RCCAQ chair and I hope that other women will follow in their footsteps one day. As you already know, 50% of the professionals working in our industry are women. For that reason, I would like to see more women serving on the RCCAQ board, whose members are seasoned professionals dedicated to ensuring the future viability of the brokerage sector. Our board members are also focused on bolstering your status as essential consumer advisors who are always ready to do what it takes to defend your interests.

My intention has not changed: I would still like to see more women involved! If you would like to serve on the RCCAQ's board, please get in touch!
