Invitation to the members

posted on April 16, 2019

Dear RCCAQ members:

PPouliot.JPGAs part of its lobbying activities, the RCCAQ will be holding Parliament Hill Day on May 15 in Quebec City, followed by a reception.

I am very pleased to invite you to the reception, which will begin at 5:00 PM at the Quebec City Hilton ("Les Plaines" Room, 1100 René Lévesque Blvd. East).

In fulfilling our mission, we seek to capitalize on each and every opportunity to represent you and defend the interests of our profession. On Parliament Hill Day, the RCCAQ delegation, including various board members, will be promoting the role played by insurance brokers, as well as meeting with elected officials and raising awareness of the various issues and challenges facing our industry.

Styled as an informal afterwork get-together (5@7), the reception at the end of the day is sure to be the high point of the event, and all members of Quebec's National Assembly will be invited. We look forward to seeing you there in large numbers!

Be sure to save this important date in your agenda. Please RSVP by clicking here

There will be two new features this year:

-  Depending on the number of people interested, the RCCAQ may decide to arrange a shuttle bus service between Montreal and Quebec City. The bus would be leaving on the afternoon of May 15 and returning to Montreal later that evening. If you would like to travel via the shuttle, please indicate your preference when you register. If enough people are interested, we will move forward with this plan and send you confirmation.

In conjunction with our get-together in Quebec City, the second stage of our regional tour will be held on the same date at the Quebec City Hilton (2:00 to 4:30 PM). This will give us an opportunity to update you on the various issues we are currently working on. At the same time, you will have a chance to attend a discussion-based training session on insurance techniques (worth 1 PDU). To sign up for this free activity (reserved for RCCAQ members), please click here.

There is strength in numbers! Whether you decide to take part in the regional tour or join us for the reception (or both), your involvement is essential!

We look forward to seeing you there!
