The RCCAQ is once again teaming up with LARAQ for the Young Broker of Distinction award, which is presented each year to a broker who has achieved an outstanding level of performance. The goal of the award is to recognize the achievements and initiatives of an insurance broker who has gained distinction at the beginning of his or her career. As in previous years, the award will be presented at the RCCAQ's annual convention, November 8th, 2018.
The deadline for submitting candidacies, by email, is September 14th, 2018. The award winner will receive the following:
- A cash prize of $1,000
• A profile in Liaison + magazine
• Invitation to join one of the foursomes honoured at LARAQ's annual golf tournament
To be eligible for the award, candidates must:
Be no more than 35 years of age
• Be a broker member of the RCCAQ and LARAQ
• Be active professionally and authorized to work by the AMF
• Demonstrate community involvement
• Help promote the brokerage sector
• Play an active role in their personal and professional development
Candidates may not currently hold and may not have held a board member position with the RCCAQ and/or LARAQ in the 12-month period prior to the end of the nomination period.
