Brokers are known for their expertise, ethical requirement, freedom of choice with respect to products offered by various insurers.

As a result, brokers are in the best position to evaluate the potentially disastrous consequences of ill-advised consumer choices and to prevent that from happening.In their day-to-day dealings with consumers, insurance brokers provide guidance and support when it comes to selecting products and preventing missteps due to coverage-related misunderstandings, etc.

Brokers are often the last line of defence for consumers about to purchase an insurance policy that does not provide adequate coverage in the event of damages or accidents.

Above and beyond the amendments to the Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services, the RCCAQ believes that promoting the importance of our personalized advisory role will mean a better future for our clients and brokerage professionals.

We are well aware of the challenges facing consumers and our profession. As a result, we are rolling out a set of innovative and powerful tools, including videos. (In French).
