RCCAQ in action > Moving towards paperless insurance!
RCCAQ members are invited to take part in a study being conducted by our affiliate, the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO).
The IBAO has been working for some time on developing and implementing the Going Paperless Project for P&C insurance clients. This will require the commitment and support of various industry stakeholders, including brokers, technology suppliers and insurers.
With that in mind, we sent out an email a few days ago to managers of the RCCAQ’s member firms requesting their concerted participation in this project, which is now in its second phase. This survey is designed to confirm consumers’ preferences regarding paperless services.
To take part in this project, brokerage firms should simply send out a short survey to their clients. As the main industry actors, brokerage firms ought to use their influence to shape how suppliers and insurers determine their strategies. A high survey participation rate will be one of the keys to this project’s success. This means your participation is essential!

The survey findings will determine the continuation of this project, which, for the time being, is being rolled out in Ontario before it is implemented nationwide.
