As a professional association, the RCCAQ seeks to promote and defend the socio-economic interests of its member firms and brokers. More than ever, the task of representing your interests is our primary concern.

In fact, most of the membership dues you pay are used for our lobbying activities. We have undertaken a range of initiatives aimed at addressing your concerns and meeting your expectations. In this regard, we deal actively with various political and media interests.

In defending your interests, we raise various issues of concern to you, including Bill 188, which is currently our main focus. This issue has prompted us to intervene on several occasions in recent months with Quebec's Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Ministry of Finance. The revision of the Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services provides an opportunity to reaffirm our positions while standing up for your rights and ensuring that consumers are well informed.

Our sector is grappling with a number of issues that, more than ever, require our members' strength and commitment. We must join forces to make our voices heard and to ensure that our firms do not go out of business. Working together, we can reach our goals!
