Mr. Leitão's request, which attests to the key role played by the RCCAQ, is an outstanding opportunity to make insurance brokers' viewpoints known to government decision-makers.
The issues raised (and potential solutions) include tax harmonization (i.e. maintaining the exemption) and business transfers (i.e. extending the capital gains exemption for family-run businesses to include brokerage firms). We will keep you posted.
