RCCAQ chair Kathleen Ann Rake announced that the RCCAQ would be launching a survey of brokers' remuneration. The announcement, which coincided with the golf/cycling event held on June 15, was warmly welcomed by the attendees.

Thanks to this initiative, brokerage owners will be able to achieve a better market position by obtaining useful information designed to attract, support and retain employees. The independent HR consulting firm Solertia has been selected to conduct the survey. All data gathered will remain confidential.

The survey will be launched in the next few weeks; the questionnaire will only be sent to brokerage managers whose firms are RCCAQ members. To facilitate the process, the RCCAQ team would appreciate it if all people contacted by Solertia took part.

The final report will be presented officially at the RCCAQ's annual convention, which is slated for November 15-16 in Quebec City. The RCCAQ is pleased to enhance its service offer by providing its members with a tool that is sure to become an essential part of their business practices.
