RCCAQ in action > Socio-economic impact study focusing on Canada's brokerage sector
The RCCAQ attended the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) board meeting in January 2019 to discuss various issues central to Canadian brokers' concerns and to listen to the status report on the IBAC's various initiatives. One of the topics addressed was Deloitte's cross-Canada survey (the firm was commissioned to study the socio-economic impact of Canada's brokerage sector).
The survey results will be released this spring to the provincial associations, which can then relay the information to their members.
Reminder
Back in November 2018, RCCAQ members received an email from Deloitte asking them to take part in a survey touching on various aspects of their firms and their initiatives.
The IBAC, together with the RCCAQ, launched a large-scale study aimed at determining the socio-economic impact of Canada's brokerage sector.
The goal was to gather data and to support the RCCAQ and the ACAC in their lobbying efforts with various bodies.
The RCCAQ would like to take this opportunity to thank the respondents. Brokers' participation in this study was needed to ensure the quality of the results.
