RCCAQ in action > Stakeholders committee: the RCCAQ was there!
The 2022 spring meeting of the stakeholders committee was held on May 3.
This committee brings together key actors in the insurance industry, including the Chamber of Damage Insurance (CHAD), the Quebec Damage Insurance Institute (IADQ), representatives of CEGEPs offering insurance programs leading to the AEC and DEC diplomas, as well as the RCCAQ. On this occasion, we were brilliantly represented by our marketing and member experience advisor, Marie-Pier Proulx-Lauzon.
Organized by the Coalition for the Next Generation (CPRAD), the meeting kicked off with a report on the latest student-oriented initiatives. The Coalition also presented various projects that it will be undertaking in the next year, along with an assessment of the pilot project launched in January 2021 aimed at optimizing the AEC insurance program. For further information on this pilot project, please consult this link.
On behalf of the RCCAQ, Ms. Proulx-Lauzon took the opportunity to reiterate our primary mission, which involves promoting and defending our member firms’ socio-economic interests and supporting their development. She also discussed various initiatives undertaken by the RCCAQ in recent years, in addition to underscoring the diversity of the training activities developed and offered by the RCCAQ. She also reminded the participants that the RCCAQ is always willing to meet with students, another key activity that ties in directly with our mission.
Please note that the committee’s next meeting will be in the fall of 2022. Please stay tuned for updates!
