RCCAQ in action > Standing up for brokers' interests on Parliament Hill
On November 14, 2017, just prior to our annual convention, an RCCAQ delegation visited Quebec's National Assembly to address issues of concern to brokers.

Christopher Johnson, RCCAQ chair, mentioned how pleased he was that brokers' concerns had been raised during the activity: "The issues affecting the brokerage sector at this time are numerous and will have a decisive impact on our profession in the coming years. Since we wish to protect consumers' financial well-being and ensure that brokers can continue to operate as independent advisors, it was imperative for us to meet with as many MNAs as possible on Parliament Hill Day."
During the event, the RCCAQ discussed the following issues:
• Bill 150
• Bill 141 (online sales, distribution without representatives, repatriation of CHAD's powers)
• Condo insurance
• Succession planning/recruitment
