When it comes to planning your firm's annual calendar and coordinating your employees' vacation time, it is sometimes difficult to navigate the thicket of rules and regulations.

The website for Quebec's labour standards board (Commission des normes du travail/CNT) includes an excellent summary of the specifics concerning statutory holiday dates and payments based on employee status (i.e. which employees are entitled to time off, which ones must be compensated, etc.).
