The training catalogue for the 2016-17 season is now available. Co-developed by the RCCAQ and the Quebec Damage Insurance Institute (IADQ), the catalogue lists a wide array of training activities (available in French only) designed to meet insurance brokers' needs.
All of our training activities include practical and specific content enabling brokers to quickly apply the things they learn and to stay on top of the latest industry developments. These activities are offered in a variety of formats to meet various needs:
- Web-based virtual classes
- Pre-recorded videos
- In-house training
The catalogue includes a number of new activities, including the following:
- Corporate cybersecurity and cyberrisk insurance
- What sets us apart: pillars of the broker-client experience
The following very popular activities will be offered once again:
- Water damage: a clearer understanding means better advice
- Personal insurance umbrella
- Surety bonds made easy in 120 minutes
Of note, RCCAQ proposes an online training for preparing students to the AMF exams which pass rate is 85%!
Approximately 200 training sessions were organized last year by the RCCAQ and its partner, attended by a total of 1,355 participants. That gives some idea as to how many different needs are met by the RCCAQ/IADQ catalogue! The catalogue also describes the RCCAQ's consulting services aimed at helping brokerage firms to improve their business practices.
