RCCAQ in action > The RCCAQ continues to promote brokerage professionals
The RCCAQ was at the CEGEP in Old Montreal last Wednesday (May 25) for an event attended by graduates of the Attestation of College Studies insurance program. Our representatives noted the graduates' keen interest in the brokerage sector!
More than 100 students were in attendance. They will be completing the ACS program between June and November of this year.
Representing the RCCAQ were Charlotte Leyre, training and member services coordinator; Michelle Davy of CréditAssur; and Gilles Gagné of BrokersNet. They shared their experiences with the future graduates and discussed the positions available in their respective firms. This is not the first time that Ms. Davy and Mr. Gagné have taken part in an RCCAQ recruitment event and they are always pleased to talk about their chosen profession!
We also received applications from various candidates during the event. We very much appreciated the catalogue listing the graduates' profiles, put together by the ACS program faculty. All RCCAQ members interested in receiving a copy of the catalogue are asked to email Charlotte Leyre (cleyre@rccaq.com).
The RCCAQ is very serious about promoting our profession. Since September 2015, we have attended five events and met with nearly 1,200 prospective candidates, including students as well as professionals.
