The RCCAQ shifts its attention from Quebec City to Ottawa

posted on June 15, 2016

On June 7, a delegation of IBAC representatives and RCCAQ members traveled to Parliament Hill in Ottawa to meet with MPs and federal government representatives.

In addition to closely monitoring legislative activities in Quebec, the RCCAQ is also very active at the federal level. Our goal is to ensure that our members' socioeconomic interests are properly represented. We discussed a number of topics in Ottawa, including the Bank Act.

We were very satisfied with how the day went. As we always do when engaged in lobbying activities, we asked several members to join us so we could better present our point of view. We would like to thank the following members of the delegation for their time:

  • Patrick Bouchard, RCCAQ chair
  • Ann Rake, RCCAQ chair elect
  • Geneviève Morin, MP2B
  • Patrice Pouliot, Assurance Pouliot
  • John Morin, P.Morin courtier en assurances inc.
  • Ted Harman, Accent Insurance Solutions
  • Guy Parent, RCCAQ general manager

You can count on the RCCAQ to keep on promoting Quebec insurance brokers' interests!
