An advisory committee made up of RCCAQ members and the organization's permanent staff met on September 18 to discuss the consultation launched by the AMF.
It should be noted that this consultation concerns the question of incentives, including contingency commissions, and the conflict-of-interest risks associated with them. The objectives of the meeting were as follows:
▪ Provide an overview of the situation (compensation models/incentives). ▪ Identify issues facing firms and consumers. ▪ Take a survey of opinions, including comments sent in by RCCAQ members.
The RCCAQ will submit its position paper on October 15, 2017.
