Latest News > RCCAQ convention: over 1,000 industry stakeholders reinvented!
The 41st edition of the RCCAQ's annual convention was a resounding success! Over 1,000 insurance brokers, students and other industry stakeholders took part in a wide-ranging program of activities focused on reinvention.
Jean-Luc Mongrain's talk ("Reinventing our profession") set the tone. During his recap of his entrepreneurial career, Mr. Mongrain stated that the viability of a company or an entire industry hinges on the ability to adapt to an ever-changing market. André Lussier, one of the panellists interviewed during the "Pioneers of our Reinvention" activity, supported this viewpoint, noting that in order to survive, "we have to question our limits and open up to new markets".
The convention also marked the beginning of Vincent Gaudreau's new mandate as RCCAQ chair. Mr. Gaudreau underscored the need for the RCCAQ to represent, train and inform its members, in addition to providing them with the right tools. He also called on the members to mobilize to lend weight to the RCCAQ's initiatives.
