CSIO launches four new cybersecurity training activities

The CSIO's services, which are offered free of charge to RCCAQ members, were recently enhanced by the addition of four cybersecurity training modules. These activities provide additional information on various familiar topics in the area of security. You can now sign up for these modules online free of charge.

Training modules:

  • Security awareness training: Introduction to key security issues you will have to address, including secure navigation, human firewalls, cloud computing, safeguards and preventive device monitoring.

  • Mobile device security: Information on hazards posed by Bluetooth technology to mobile security, open wireless networks and human error.

  • Ransomware: Information on ransomware, including how it works and how to avoid threats of holding your personal data to ransom, which could cost you dearly!

  • Your role/Internet security and you: Learn about threats to Internet security and what you can do to protect your organization against threats that might lead to the disclosure of personal information. Click here to sign up.
