Valued at three (3) PDUs in the area of insurance techniques, "Cybersecurity and cloud computing risks and opportunities" will be held on December 8 from 1:30-4:30 PM. Taught by Marc Lebrun, an information security consultant at CyberSwat Group, this activity will provide information on cloud computing, a technological phenomenon that is playing an ever-greater role in our day-to-day lives.

The main uses of cloud computing services will be covered. The session will focus on the advantages of this technology and on related issues, including data security. Participants will gain insight into the importance of security when using cloud-based services. They will also explore the tools they need to successfully implement a cloud computing service.
