RCCAQ Training is pleased to announce that two new activities have been added to our existing selection. There are still some spots available, so be sure to sign up without delay!

“The art of delegating”

This new 90-minute activity is presented by the Soluflex team and is worth 1.5 professional development units (PDUs) in the area of administration. Primarily geared towards P&C insurance managers, the session will explore the following topics:

  • Understanding the impact of an effective HR strategy on managers’ quality of life.
  • Understanding the four levels of responsibility and the importance of delegating.
  • Understanding related obstacles and how to overcome them.
  • Learning how to use the “delegation checklist”.

Sign up today for the next session on February 3 (from 9:00 to 10:30 AM). There are still a few spots available!

“Interpreting guarantees and exclusions for cyber-risk insurance products”

Another new law-related training activity (worth 1 PDU) is geared towards brokers specializing in either personal or commercial insurance, as well as brokerage managers. Taught by Pierre-Alexandre Fortin, an attorney at the law firm of Tremblay Bois, this activity complements the other cybersecurity training sessions offered by RCCAQ Training. The goal here is to shed light on insurance guarantees and exclusions, in particular how they are applied in the wake of a cybersecurity incident in keeping with the roles and responsibilities of other stakeholders with whom brokers may have to interact.

The next session is scheduled for March 16 (from 1:30 to 2:30 PM). For further registration details, please click here. Only five more spots are available!

If you have any questions on the RCCAQ’s training activities or need help signing up, please contact Marie-Pier Proulx-Lauzon, our marketing and member experience advisor.
