On October 7-8, the RCCAQ team attended the National Career Event in Montreal (job fair for the banking, finance and insurance sectors).
Assisting the RCCAQ team were Courmark broker Nadia Karam and Kassy Lapierre, a human resources advisor at Soluflex (the RCCAQ's HR partner). Together they and the team provided information to more than 300 people, including students in search of internships and workers looking to switch careers.
After taking part in a similar event in Boucherville on April 24, the RCCAQ team became convinced of the need to keep on meeting with prospective candidates. Serge Lemieux of AG3L Assurances also appreciated this initiative as it enabled him to hire a new employee for his firm!
These positive impacts have encouraged the RCCAQ to take part in more job fairs. The next ones will be held in the spring of 2016. Further information will be provided in The Informer.
