Major stakeholders: the RCCAQ was there!

affiché le 12 mai 2022

Launched in the spring of 2021, the meeting of the major insurance stakeholders, organized by the Chamber of Damage Insurance (CHAD) is slated to become an annual event! It brings together key actors from the insurance industry, including training organizations and direct insurers, as well as organizations dedicated to defending brokers’ interests and promoting/showcasing the profession.

For the second edition of the event held on May 4 , our marketing and member experience advisor, Marie-Pier Proulx-Lauzon, proudly represented the RCCAQ.

Topics addressed

CHAD took the opportunity to provide an update on its quality management program for accredited training activities. Launched in the spring of 2021, this program is designed to verify the suitability of available training in light of certified brokers’ expectations.

The presentation of new course plan model for training accreditation also gave rise to some interesting discussions. Participants exchanged views on various ways of optimizing the accreditation system while continuing to offer comprehensive training activities designed to foster skills development among certified brokers.

CHAD also discussed its annual survey, launched last April, aimed at gauging certified brokers’ perceptions and satisfaction with their professional development activities. The results were shared and commented on by all the committee members.

The meeting concluded with a discussion about the end of the grace period for the 2020-2021 reference period.

See you there!

The committee plans to meet again in the fall of 2022 to continue the discussions, assess the projects underway and address some new issues.
