Training, management & co > Managing human resources: new training activities!
The RCCAQ continues to provide essential training activities relating to the insurance brokerage sector. Via RCCAQ Training, professional guidance is provided to certified brokers, in addition to brokerage managers and persons in charge of recruiting and managing human resources.
It goes without saying that the labour shortage, in terms of attracting as well as retaining talent, is a major issue in Québec in 2022, as it is in other parts of the world. The brokerage network is no stranger to this phenomenon.
To better serve the brokerage network in Québec, the RCCAQ signed an agreement with Soluflex, an HR consulting firm. Under this agreement, a series of five training activities will be offered under the theme of “Grappling with the labour shortage: act now to avoid the worst”.
In addition to the above activities, participating managers can benefit from personalized individual coaching sessions running for 90 minutes. These sessions will address a number of sensitive topics and will offer guidance towards achieving a more responsible management style. Participants will discover how to better manage their stress, how they perceive others and themselves and how they can transform these perceptions with a view to becoming better communicators, thus enhancing team management.
Offered online, each of these training activities runs for two hours and is valued at two PDUs in the area of administration. These activities will kick off in November 2022.
