What types of problems could arise if consumers don't rely on an expert for insurance advice? That's the unique perspective of "The Broker Benefit" campaign, launched in late September.

Although the overall tone is humorous and light-hearted, there's no doubt that average consumers will reap major benefits if they purchase insurance after receiving solid advice from industry professionals. In the event of a claim, having sufficient coverage in place to get back to business swiftly is something that all Canadian families and companies hope for.

Broadcast on the English as well as the French-language TV networks, the ad may well come on while you're watching a public affairs program or a game involving your favourite NHL team, not to mention the Raptors if you're a basketball fan or even the Blue Jays!
