CONTEST REGULATIONS

RCCAQ Banquet contest

 

  • ‪1. MANDATORY PROVISION

Subject to all applicable laws, these regulations govern all the aspects of the RCCAQ Banquet contest and are binding on all participants.

  •  2. CONTEST DURATION

The RCCAQ Banquet contest will begin on November 23, 2016 and will end on the same date (November 23, 2016).

  • ‪3. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the contest, participants must:

  • ‪Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Be registered for the convention and for the banquet activity.
  • ‪Be part of the winning table during the banquet game.
  • Not be an RCCAQ employee, not be a person residing at the same address as an RCCAQ employee and/or must have an arm's length relationship with any such persons.
  • 4. ‪HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The banquet will be held in the evening and will include a meal and entertainment. Each table will consist of 10 people. The contest will take place during the meal by means of a game entitled "Who wants to be a broker?", in which each table must answer various multiple-choice questions using an electronic controller to record the responses.

Eligibility and participation will be determined as follows: the winning table must be made up of no more than 10 people, all of whom must be registered for the convention and for the banquet activity, and must have provided the correct answers to the largest number of questions during the game.

  • ‪5. PRIZES

Ten (10) SAQ gift cards. Each prize is valued at $100, for a total value of $1,000.

  • ‪6. DRAW

The winners will be announced on the evening of November 23, 2016, once the counting of the correct answers has been completed. The counting will take place at the Westin Hotel, located at 270 Saint Antoine West, Montreal, Quebec H2Y 0A3.

  • 7. AWARDING OF PRIZES

For a participant to be declared a "confirmed winner", he or she must:

  • ‪Meet the conditions set out in sections 2, 3 and 4 of the contest regulations.
  • ‪Be present until the end of the contest, i.e. until the RCCAQ banquet game is completed.
  • If any participants violate any of the above conditions, they will be disqualified and will receive no prizes. In that case, the RCCAQ reserves the right, at its sole and complete discretion, to randomly select another convention participant as the potential winner or to cancel the prize.
  • Non-availability. Similarly, the winners must be present for the awarding of the prizes by the RCCAQ. If they are not, they will not be able to claim their prize at a later date.
  • Rejection of a prize. In the event that a selected participant rejects his or her prize, the RCCAQ will be free from any obligation to award said prize and may elect at its discretion to cancel said prize or to conduct a new draw in the manner described in section 2.
  1. ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRIZE

The prize must be accepted as described in these regulations and may not be exchanged, transferred or sold, in whole or in part, to any other person.

  1. MISCELLANEOUS

The RCCAQ accepts no responsibility for losses or for any personal injury arising from the awarding of prizes in connection with this contest.   1. PUBLICITY

By participating in the contest, the confirmed winner authorizes the RCCAQ and the contest organizers and their agents to use his or her name and/or photograph as needed for publicity purposes without any financial remuneration.

  1. CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION OF THE CONTEST

The RCCAQ reserves the right, at its sole and entire discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the contest, in whole or in part.

  1. LEGAL DISPUTES

‪Any disputes regarding the organization or conduct of this publicity contest may be submitted to Quebec's Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. Any disputes regarding the awarding of prizes may be submitted to the Régie solely for the purposes of attempting to resolve the matter.

 

RCCAQ Booth: My Clients, My Commitments!

 

  • 1. MANDATORY PROVISION

Subject to all applicable laws, these regulations govern all aspects of the "RCCAQ Booth: My Clients, My Commitments!" contest and are binding on all participants.

  • ‪ 2. CONTEST DURATION

The "RCCAQ Booth: My Clients, My Commitments!" contest will begin on November 24, 2016 and will end on the same date (November 24, 2016) at 5:30 PM.

  • ‪3. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the contest, participants must:

  • ‪Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Be registered for the 2016 RCCAQ convention.
  • ‪Have their photo taken at the RCCAQ booth.
  • ‪ Not be an RCCAQ employee, not be a person residing at the same address as an RCCAQ employee and/or must have an arm's length relationship with any such persons.
  • ‪4. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

To be eligible, participants must be registered for the convention and must go to the RCCAQ booth in order to have their photo taken with one of the members of the RCCAQ team with a view to making a commitment to their clients.

Eligibility and participation will be determined by having a photo taken at the RCCAQ booth.

  • ‪5. PRIZE

A basket of different flavours. The value of the prize is approximately $150.

  • ‪6. DRAW

The winner will be designated by a random draw to be conducted at 1111 Saint Charles West, East Tower, Suite 550, Longueuil, Quebec J4K 5G4 on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM.

  • 7. AWARDING OF PRIZES

For a participant to be declared a "confirmed winner", he or she must:

  • ‪Meet the conditions set out in sections 2, 3 and 4 of the contest regulations.
  • ‪ Be reachable by telephone by the contest organizers during a period of ten (10) business days following the date of the draw described in section 6 of the contest regulations. The prize will be sent by regular mail to the address provided by the winner.
  • If any participants violate any of the above conditions, they will be disqualified and will receive no prize. In that case, the RCCAQ reserves the right, at its sole and complete discretion, to randomly select another convention participant as the potential winner or to cancel the prize.
  • Non-availability. Similarly, the winner is responsible for providing complete mailing information for sending the prize. If he or she does not, he or she will not be able to claim the prize at a later date.
  • Rejection of a prize. In the event that a selected participant rejects his or her prize, the RCCAQ will be free from any obligation to award said prize and may elect at its discretion to cancel said prize or to conduct a new draw in the manner described in section 2.

2016 Insurers Evening

 

  • 1. MANDATORY PROVISION

Subject to all applicable laws, these regulations govern all aspects of the 2016 Insurers Evening contest and are binding on all participants.

  •  2. CONTEST DURATION

The 2016 Insurers Evening contest will begin on November 24, 2016 and will end on the same date (November 24, 2016).

  • ‪3. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the contest, participants must:

  • ‪Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Be registered for the convention and take part in the Insurers Evening activity.
  • Have visited each of the seven (7) insurer spaces during the Insurers Evening.
  • ‪Not be an RCCAQ employee, not be a person residing at the same address as an RCCAQ employee and/or must have an arm's length relationship with any such persons.
  • ‪4. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The Insurers Evening includes seven (7) different spaces, each of which features one of the participating insurers. Each insurer space is required to provide a proof of participation to convention attendees so they may collect them.

Eligibility and participation will be determined by collecting the seven (7) different proofs of participation issued by each participating insurer.

  • 5. ‪PRIZES

Five (5) SAQ gift cards. Each prize is valued at $500, for a total value of $500.

  • 6. ‪DRAW

The winners will be designated during the evening of November 24, 2016 by conducting a random draw from among the convention attendees who have collected all seven (7) proofs of participation from the insurers. The draw will be conducted at the Westin Hotel, located at 270 Saint Antoine West, Montreal, Quebec H2Y 0A3.

  • 7. AWARDING OF PRIZES
