Prizes
Jury prize (videos will be evaluated on the basis of pre-determined criteria by a jury made up of the Brokers in Action committee members).
A $1,000 bursary will be awarded to the winning school.
A plaque will be presented to the winning school.
The winning video will be shown at the Brokers in Action reception and will be posted on the RCCAQ's website.
The winning school will be mentioned in the electronic newsletter distributed to RCCAQ members.
People's choice award (participating videos will be available for viewing on the RCCAQ's website; visitors will be invited to vote for their favourite).
A $500 bursary will be awarded to the winning school (presented by the IADQ).
One free enrolment in a course in the CIP program will be offered by the IADQ to a member of the winning team (value of approximately $600, including registration fees, course materials and exam fees).

Participation
Production values: The jury expects to receive amateur videos, not professional-quality videos. The main emphasis will be on the message conveyed.
One video will be accepted per insurance program offered by a given educational institution (videos must be submitted to the RCCAQ prior to Oct. 19, 2014).
Participants must submit an amateur video of no more than two minutes in length (including credits) focusing on what makes them feel passionate about the broker profession.
The subject matter must tie in directly with the convention's theme: Brokers: let’s reinvent ourselves.

Activities
Each school will be welcomed by an "ambassador broker" who will accompany the students during the event and will answer any questions they have about the profession.

Mini-seminars with two brokers.
Participants will visit the Allée des entreprises (booths staffed by brokerage firms and insurance companies).
The amateur video contest winners will be announced.
Entrance fees $10 per student/instructor (payable on site).
Travel expenses The RCCAQ will reimburse students' travel expenses within a predetermined budget based on the distance traveled (see details below).
Registration The number of participants attending the reception should be provided no later than October 24.

Registration For organizational purposes, instructors are kindly asked to provide us with the number of participants who will be attending the Brokers in Action reception (deadline: October 24). The entrance fee of $10 per student/instructor is payable on site.
