RCCAQ chair urges brokers to make the client service pledge

A speech given by the RCCAQ's new chair, Kathleen Ann Rake, was quoted on several occasions in the November 28 edition of Flash Finance. Describing the client experience as the key to success for insurance brokerage firms, Ms. Rake expressed hopes that RCCAQ members would add this business technique to their list of strategies. 2016 Junior Broker of Distinction

Maxime Poulin, executive vice-president at Ostiguy Gendron, a Laval-based brokerage firm, won the 2016 Junior Broker of Distinction Award, presented by the RCCAQ and LARAQ. A full-length profile on this year's winner will be featured in the next issue of Liaison+, which is slated for release on December 5. Bill 188: RCCAQ is ready for action

In her speech, Ms. Rake also mentioned the delayed introduction of Bill 188, which was supposed to be tabled before December 9. Although the strike by legal professionals is slowing down the process, the RCCAQ's chair reaffirmed that this issue will continue to be an area of focus.
