As we all know, the insurance industry is facing a shortage of qualified workers.
Junior workers are fewer and farther between, particularly in the brokerage sector. For that reason, over two years ago the RCCAQ put in place a number of tools designed to support brokerage firms during their recruitment process. Here are the four main services and tools available:

Since 2009, the RCCAQ has provided its members with a free HR guide. This handy tool is designed to shed light on the principles of HR management. Offering a combination of theory, advice, down-to-earth explanations and, most importantly, practical tools, the RCCAQ's HR guide is geared towards brokerage firm managers/executives.

Since 2014, the RCCAQ has offered its members the opportunity to take psychometric tests designed to analyze personality and sales skills. In collaboration with SPB, an organizational psychology firm, the RCCAQ is certified to offer Hogan psychometric testing at very competitive prices! The process is quick and greatly appreciated--and the testing is conducted remotely!

The RCCAQ believes that it is essential to boost its participation at job fairs and CEGEPs in order to raise students' and jobseekers' awareness of brokerage insurance. We also seek to inform them about career opportunities in the sector and the RCCAQ's product/service offer. The RCCAQ gives its member firms the opportunity to promote job offers and provides them with access to CVs that have been submitted.
