Dear Members:

On behalf of the RCCAQ's board of directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Marie-Pierre Fortin, CEO and partner at BC ASSUR (Bilodeau Couture Assurances Inc.), as a designated director. She officially joined the board on January 15.

In addition, Jean-Pierre Tardif, president/CEO of Assurancia Groupe Tardif, was the winner of the Region 5 by-election held in early January following the departure of Patrice Pouliot. Mr. Tardif previously served on the RCCAQ's board as a designated director.

All of the board members and the RCCAQ's permanent staff met this week to undertake a strategic planning exercise for 2020-2023.
