Mathieu Brunet appointed RCCAQ chair

Mathieu Brunet, vice-president of the firm MP2B Assurance, was appointed chair of the RCCAQ’s Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting held online on November 30, 2020. He takes over from Sylvain Turgeon (Verrier & Associés), who will now serve as outgoing chair. In addition, Jean-Pierre Tardif (Assurancia Groupe Tardif) was appointed first vice-president, while Michel Auger (AGMA Assurances) was reappointed as secretary/treasurer.


Mr. Brunet, 36, has been an RCCAQ Board member since 2016 and served for the past year as first vice-president. He has also been involved for many years as a Board member of various industry organizations, including the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) and the Centre for the Study of Insurance Practices (Centre d’étude de la pratique d’assurance/CSIO).
