The first step is to contact the AMF to verify your professional eligibility. The AMF's website contains comprehensive information on permit applications, internships and professional exams for insurance brokers. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that he or she meets all of the eligibility criteria governing access to the profession. To do so, you must fill out the form on the AMF's website. Before you apply for certification as a representative (depending on the discipline or discipline category you select), you must meet the minimum training requirements, in addition to passing the AMF exams and completing a workplace internship. The AMF exams evaluate each of the skills that must be mastered in order to work as a representative in a given discipline or discipline category. |

The study time depends on each student's learning process. We estimate, however, that you will require between 15 and 25 hours for the law module, between 20 and 35 hours for the property insurance and individual liability module and between 25 and 40 hours for the personal/commercial automobile insurance module. These estimates do not include the actual training session time; they represent the time required to complete the readings and assignments. |

As soon as you sign up for the training, you will have access to the training registration links for a three-month period. Once that deadline has expired, you will no longer have access to the links, whether or not you pass your exams. Obviously, the RCCAQ cannot guarantee success on the AMF exams. Nevertheless, we pledge to offer high-quality training and supervision in order to maximize your chances of success. It is the responsibility of each student to complete the assignments and suggested readings and to put in the effort to ensure individual success. |
