Taking care of yourself during a pandemic: support when you need it!

posted on January 21, 2021

The issue of pandemic-related stress management has received official recognition in the human resources field and is on everyone's lips these days! Especially in professional settings, it is important to know how to deal with the variety of emotions that this extraordinary situation may produce in each of us.

With a view to enhancing its members' well-being, during the month of January, the RCCAQ (via Centre Patronal SST) will be providing free access to two webinars dealing with COVID-19 and the stress it can generate:

  • On January 26 (1:30-2:30 PM), learn more about stress mechanisms and discover the importance of taking good care of yourself with Learning to relax is simpler than you think! hosted by Marie-Pierre Caouette, MOA, C. Adm., PCC.
  • On January 28 (1:30-2:30 PM), explore solutions aimed at improving your sleep quality with The importance of sleep, hosted by Régine Denesle, insomnia clinic coordinator, Centre for Advanced Research in Sleep Medicine (CEAMS), Sacré-Cœur Hospital, Montreal.

For further information or to fill out the registration form, please visit Centre Patronal SST website

Please bear in mind that convention goers who signed up for the RCCAQ package giving them access will be able to watch the seminar hosted by stress management specialist, Sonia Lupien, for a second time. Founder and scientific director of the Centre for Studies on Human Stress (CSHS/CESH), Dr. Lupien hosted a convention seminar on September 18 entitled Can we free ourselves from COVID-19 stress? designed to give managers and employees the tools they need to manage the pandemic more effectively. The seminar is now available on the SwapCard platform by clicking here.
