In addition, our biggest step forward may be seen in the increased relevance of our messages and initiatives. Against a backdrop of political change and with your support, we took on increasingly active role, e.g. by organizing Parliament Hill Days in both Ottawa and Quebec City, during which we met with government ministers and MPs from all parties to raise awareness of our concerns, such as the low level of protection for consumers purchasing insurance products online. As we implement our new approach, we are forging a new network of relationships and making our voices heard more effectively.

As regards the RCCAQ’s financial position, we are facing a revenue squeeze as a direct consequence of brokerage firm mergers. Nevertheless, our financial health remains stable. In response, we have been seeking to diversify our revenue streams. In addition to launching the digital version of Liaison magazine (now readable on smart phones and tablets), we have worked to publicize the outstanding quality of our training program. In this regard, we will be reviewing how we promote Courmark’s advantages as well.
