The BIP logo, which helps consumers to identify brokers, will be getting a facelift in the near future! The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) provided the following summary of the upcoming changes:
"The Broker Identity Program (BIP) with its well-known BIPPER logo is central to advancing recognition for the insurance broker profession and enhancing the reputation of brokers everywhere. That is why we’re excited to announce that the IBAC Board of Directors, at its May 2018 meeting, approved the recommendation of the BIP committee to update this important symbol.
After more than 25 years, the time has come to modernize the BIPPER for today’s landscape. While you’ll certainly recognize the new logo and the familiar magenta colour scheme, you will also see that it has been simplified to resonate better for consumers in the digital environment. The new BIPPER is dynamic, confident, and contemporary, just like the thousands of brokers that it represents.
We look forward to unveiling the new logo this fall as part of an exciting new national digital and TV campaign. In the meantime, if you are planning an office renovation, or simply printing new promotional materials, we suggest that you wait until the new BIPPER is ready to launch. IBAC is developing a full suite of promotion and marketing support tools that will be made available to you on the Bipper Toolbox as of this coming October."
