We were blessed with magnificent weather last Thursday (June 16) for our 2016 golf/cycling event, which drew a record-breaking 330 participants!

 The golfers as well as the cyclists in attendance had a great time. The golf contingent enjoyed the magnificent Parcours du Cerf Golf and Country Club, while the cyclists split into two groups for a 100-km course along the Richelieu River and a 50-km course towards the St. Lawrence.

  As in past years, a number of golfers drew attention for their advanced skills. This applied in particular to the foursome of Jean-François Raymond (Groupassur Inc.), Alexandre Lauzière (Recrutement Alexandre Lauzière), Gabriel Morneau (Assurances Provencher Verreault) and Ghislain Lévesque (Snap Premium Finance), who won the Blue Jacket for the best performance of the day. 

Needless to say, an event of this kind would not be possible without the support of everyone involved!

 First and foremost, we are grateful to all the participants. Without your commitment to the RCCAQ and your enthusiastic participation, our golf/cycling event would not be a success. Thank you!

 We would also like to extend our special thanks to Jean Lalumière who organized the bike routes for the second year in a row. As a highly knowledgeable cycling enthusiast, Jean chose enjoyable routes tailored to the participants' various skill levels. Thank you, Jean!
